Mr. LaMera has been in this industry since 1985 as owner and president of METRO AUTO ALARMS of Elizabeth and Newark, NJ. Prior to starting this school in January 1995, Mr. LaMera designed and has been producing "THE UNTOUCHABLE" auto security system, sold nationally through METRO franchise marketing company. His many years of installation knowledge is passed on to all his students as the head hands-on instructor of METRO.
Scotty Harpenace Daytime Instructor
Scotty began installing car radios and alarm systems in 1984 as a hobby. When he realized his hobby was rapidly turning into an occupation, Scotty enrolled in Metro to learn proper installation methods. A quick learner, he was the top student in his class and was recruited for Metro's retail installation shop, where he manages five full time installers that serve retail customers and dealerships throughout the state. Scotty joined the instructional staff as the night Instructor in 1998. "We earn our customer's business by doing an install right the first time"
